We also use Dharma Merchant Services as our credit card processor. So, a percentage of each swipe goes towards helping the elephants at Mr. Ellie Pooh.

***Why are you guys more expensive than a regular funny t shirt site?

This is a tough question to answer in a short amount of time, but I'll try my best. First of all, our blank t shirts are top quality. We don't use boring cotton t shirts like most sites do. Some of these shirts are manufactured far away. This adds to our shipping costs. We also use top quality water based screen printing methods to ensure our vintage soft feel.
Also, the owner of this company is retardette when it comes to computers. This means that I had to hire a crazy webmaster to help me. I promised him a large percentage of the profits until I can afford to give him a salary that he deserves. In addition, we plant a tree with every purchase and have numerous expenses. In spite of all that, our prices are very fair. There are sites like Kitson and Intuition that are selling burnouts for example for a lot more.

***Can 1 tote bag really replace 1,000 plastic bags in it's lifetime?

***Every tote bag that I buy tears eventually. What is the quality of your tote bags?

You will not have that problem with merchandise. Our tote bags are STRONG and made in the U.S. I never realized how top quality U.S.A. products were until I received my first tote sample. They are made by the oldest tote bag manufacturer in the U.S.A. They are unlike any cotton tote bag that you've EVER used. The stitching job on this puppy is professional to the max. Most "eco friendly" tote bag companies employ sweatshops in another country. We do things the right way. If we make enough money, we'll buy an old sweatshop and treat the workers with respect. Then we'll put a webcam in there so you can see what we've done.

***What kind of ink do you use on the totes?
We utilize water based inks that are PVC Free. For more information about PVC, click here. In the future, some of our pricier items will be made out of 100% pure Vegetable Ink. This goes way beyond eco friendly soy inks. The inks are so pure that you can eat them (not that we recommend that).

SHIPPING RATES AND INFORMATION FOR T SHIRTS

***What shipping options do you offer for the t shirts?

We offer flat rate shipping prices and utilize USPS Priority mail. Say what you want about government, but the USPS rocks! In addition to being very efficient they use recycled materials in their packaging.

What shipping options do you offer for the cupcakes?

We ship the cupcakes via UPS. We offer 1 and 2 day shipping for our yummy cupcakes. UPS does not ship on Sundays however. If shipping falls on a Sunday then the schedule will roll over into the next business day which is Monday.

How much does shipping cost for the cupcakes?

The answer to this question depends on how fast you want them. The shipping is usually around $30.00 This may sound like a lot but it is expensive ad time consuming to ship food properly. Every online cupcake site charges around this much. Generally speaking, our prices are usually a little less than our competition.

***I haven't received my order yet and I'm really freaking out!

***Why do I have to pay 2 shipping costs when I order t shirts and cupcakes?

The t-shirts and the cupcakes come from two separate parts of the country. One is coming from a warehouse and the other from a bakery. The t shirts are shipped via the usps and the cupcakes are shipped out by ups.

***Why do the shipping costs seem so high for the cupcakes?

They don’t just seem high. They are high. But, this isn’t our fault. It’s expensive and time consuming to ship these spicy & delicious treats. However, if you compare our shipping costs with other online cupcake companies you will see that we are usually the same or cheaper.

***What do you ship the cupcakes in?

Good question. It’s a special surprise. Soon, we will be posting pictures of our cute boxes.

***What is flat rate shipping?

Flat rate shipping simply means that the cost doesn’t go by weight. We do this in an attempt at making life as simple as possible.

***Why do you have 3 different flat rates for shipping? How is the price determined?

1 - 2 products is just $6.00

3 - 9 products is $12.00

10 to 19 products is $16.00

PRODUCTS AND SIZES

***What fabrics do you use?

We use conventional as well as eco friendly fabrics such organic cotton, bamboo & recycled poly. In the future, we will be adding hemp, corn and a variety of other eco friendly materials. We also offer burnout tees.

What are water based inks?

Most funny graphic t shirt companies print garments using plastisol inks, which are easy to use and last well. However, plastisol inks contain PVC and phthalates that are harmful to the environment and have been linked to numerous medical disorders. Plastisol inks also require the use of harmful solvents in the cleaning process. Water based inks do not contain PVC or phthalates and you don't need solvents to clean the screens down after they've been used - you can clean them with water.
Our water based inks do not contain ozone-depleting chemicals such as CFC's and HCFC's, aromatic hydrocarbons or any volatile solvents. They don't contain lead or any heavy metals.
For a quick experiment, go into your closet. Take out one of your favorite funny t shirts or any t shirt with a graphic design printed on it. Now, run your fingers over the design. Does it feel like it’s “sitting on top” of the shirt or have a “rubbery” feel? If so, it was probably printed with Plastisol.
Water based inks feel as if they have been “soaked” into the fabric. This creates a much softer and feminine feel to the shirt. The real goal is for the design to be so soft that you can’t feel where the design and the t shirt begins.

***Why doesn’t everyone use water based inks instead of plastisol?
Good question. Water based inks can be difficult to use. They air dry and can clog up the screen during printing. It takes a bit of getting used to but we think it's worth it. Traditionally water based inks were not as hard-wearing and durable as plastisol inks and weren't as opaque but things are different now.

***Should I care that you use PVC Free Inks on your silly t shirts?

Yes, you should. PVC is one of those materials that we never think about yet it’s found in almost everything. PVC Inks are found in most clothes that are made in the U.S. and the majestic empire of China. Yet, we don’t use them. Why you ask? Well for starters, they have been banned in the U.K. since 1999. We believe the U.K. is ahead of the U.S. in this area. PVC is a material that is dangerous to humans and the environment. It’s a small step, but something that we feel strongly about.

***How do you print them?

Our shirts are professionally screen printed with water based inks. We don’t use heat transfers or any other shortcuts that would lead to an inferior print.

Using water based inks also ensures that the graphic design will have a very soft and feminine feel.

***Where do you print them?

They are printed and shipped from our warehouse in beautiful Olympia, Washinton.

***What sizes do you offer?

Our t-shirts are offered in sizes s-xl right now. In the near future, we will be offering sizes XS-5XL. We hate the fact that most funny t shirt sites don’t offer every size. We don’t plan on making that same mistake. We know that our fans come in every size. Our goal is to be able to accommodate everyone. If you’re not sure what size you are for a particular t shirt then please refer to one of our handy size charts.

A NOTE ABOUT HOODIES – Please order 1 size smaller than you typically wear. Our hoodies are unisex. So, even though they are feminine and chic, they are still cut for a guy. Please keep this in mind when ordering. Once again, please order 1 SIZE SMALLER than usual when ordering one of our kick ass hoodies. I’m sure that neither of us would rather deal with a return.

This is one of the few instances where SIZE DOES MATTER.

***Do you have a size chart?

Yes, we offer a size chart for each of our glamorous t shirts.

***Why do you recommend washing everything in cold water?

So many people these days talk about “energy conservation”. Yet, around 90% of the energy used when washing clothes comes from heating the water. However, using warm / hot water is not necessary in most cases. Washing machines these days are incredible machines that are extremely efficient. We have been washing clothes in cold water for the last couple of years and I can only remember 1 item that needed to be re-washed.

Wash clothes in cold or warm water and save up to 500 pounds of CO2 emissions per year. About 90% of the energy used to wash clothes is from heating up the water. No need to use hot water when it really doesn't clean your clothes any better. The US Department of Energy has a few great tips:
• Wash your clothes in cold water. Use cold water detergents whenever possible.
• Wash and dry full loads. If you are washing a small load, use the small load setting.
• Dry towels and heavier clothes in a separate load from lighter-weight clothes.
• Don't over-dry your clothes. If your machine has a moisture sensor, use it.
• Clean the lint filter in the dryer after every load to improve air circulation.
• Use the cool-down cycle so the clothes finish drying with the residual heat in the dryer.
• Occasionally inspect your dryer vent to ensure it is not blocked. This will save energy and may prevent a fire. Manufacturers recommend using rigid venting material, not plastic vents that may collapse and cause blockages.
• Consider air-drying clothes on clothes lines or drying racks. Air-drying is recommended by clothing manufacturers for some fabrics. We air dry a ton of our stuff. Our tees feel extra happy after the wind flows through it.

***What styles do you offer?

This is something that will be changing as new styles emerge. Right now we offer soft long sleeve tees, exotic hoodies, cute short sleeve tee shirts. In the future, we’ll be adding “boy beaters”, sexy tunics, spaghetti straps, racer backs and much more. All of our mucho caliente styles come in a variety of funky fabrics such as bamboo, organic cotton and recycled materials.

***Why should I care if cotton is organic?

Because innocent animals are hurt. Is that good enough for you? More pesticides are used on cotton than any other crop. Where do you think those chemicals go once it rains? It goes into the local water supply. Animals drink that water and die. But, even if you don’t care about animals click here to watch what it does to humans. We didn’t make this video ourselves but we endorse it. Notice how the guy gets harmful chemicals all over his neck at 1:00 of the video. Pause it again at 1:16. That poor guy is getting a face full of that toxic shxt!

***What does a bamboo shirt feel like?

Imagine if cashmere and silk had a baby. Now, imagine if that baby was wrapped in velvet, smothered in love and then dipped in cotton candy. That’s what bamboo tees feel like. Our bamboo tops are actually 70% bamboo. The other 30% is organic cotton.

***What are the benefits of using bamboo?

This natural fiber is hypoallergenic, absorbent, and fast drying. It is naturally anti-bacterial and will not hold odor. Like other natural fibers, it allows the body to breathe as the fabric absorbs the perspiration away from the body. It also is the most sustainable of the natural fibers. It is fast-growing - the type of bamboo used for making fabric, commonly known as Moso, can reach a mature height of 75 feet in just 45 to 60 days. Because of its natural antibacterial properties, it needs no pesticides. This fabric is cooling in summer, warm in winter, and environmentally friendly all year round. Combined with 30% ORGANIC cotton, our BAMBOO fabric becomes softer than ever, has beautiful drape, and prints perfectly.

***What is the return policy for the cupcakes?

You cannot return the cupcakes. If you don’t like them, them e-mail us and let us know why. Out of the 1000’s of cupcakes that we’ve sold, we’ve only had 1 person that thought they weren’t yummy. That was from someone that bought cupcakes without realizing that they were supposed to be spicy.

They may not be as fresh as if you came into our bakery, but you’ll still love them.

Only the first one will love you however. The other 5 will turn against you as they watch in horror while you eat their frosted friend.

***Can I return the shirt to your warehouse in person if I live near Olympia Washington?

Yes, we want to make returns as pain free as possible for you. If you live in the Olympia, Washington are then feel free to contact us telepathically and we’ll work something out.

***Do I have to pay to ship a return back to you?

At this time yes. There is also a small re-stocking fee. In the near future, we will pre-pay the return shipping fees and you will only have to pay a small restocking fee.
